Welcome to the School of Engineering

We are delighted to announce two recent and significant developments for York University's School of Engineering. On 1.11.11, Pierre Lassonde announced his generous donation of $25 million for the expansion of the School.

Earlier in the summer, the Government of Ontario committed $50 million towards a new engineering building. Together, these two opportunities will enable us to transform and expand the School of Engineering.

In response to the needs of engineering in the next century, we offer four exciting engineering programs: Computer Engineering, Geomatics Engineering (four-year program, unique in Ontario), Software Engineering, and Space Engineering (unique in Canada). York University’s engineering programs were developed to reflect a modern view of engineering and to teach the skills needed in the engineering profession today.
